Your show host Robert and special guest Mario Andretti. Mario is considered by many to be one of the most influential and successful American race car drivers. Mario has won races in Formula I, Indy Car, World Sports Cars, Nascars, midgets and sprint cars. Mario possesses the ability to drive any car, anywhere, any time and on any track from Pikes Peak to the dragstrip, winning races in all events. Mario has been named "Driver of the Century" having been "Driver of the Year" in four consecutive decades. He was inducted into the "International Motorsports Hall of Fame", the "National Sprint Car Hall of Fame", and the "Motorsports Hall of Fame of America." In Italy he received the "Commendatore dell' Ordine al Merito della Repubblica Italiana", the highest civilian award bestowed by the Italian government honoring his illustrious racing career, public service and devotion to his Italian heritage. He is currently involved with his son Michael in Andretti Autosports and their Indy car efforts.
