Your Show host Robert and special guest Sam Posey. Sam is a well known American race car driver who started his racing career in the early sixties driving Formula V and then quickly moving up through SCCA, Trans-AM, Can-Am, IMSA, F 5000, F1, Indy Car and Nascar. In 1981 he started commentating on TV for ABC's INDY 500 Commentary Team. Sam was later recruited by Speedvision to do commentary on Formula 1 racing. In addition to his motorsports background, Sam is also an architect and has been credited with designing the Michelin Tower at Lime Rock Raceway. He is considered to be a knowledgeable race historian and has written numerous articles for motorsports publications, most notably Road & Track. He has also written about and covered the Tour de France cycling events.
