Your show host Robert and special guest "TV Tommy " Ivo. Tommy is known for two professions. He was a child actor starring in films and TV with big names such as William Powell, Gene Autry and Roy Rogers. He appeared in cult movies like "Dragstrip Girl" with Frank Gorshin and Fay Spain. Tommy is best known as a drag racing pioneer and innovator. He started drag racing in the late 1950's and continued through the 1990's. In the early years of racing he set record after record - 7 sec at 190 mph and another - 5 sec at 250 mph. Tommy was the first to build a twin engine dragster and later the famous "Showboat" four wheel drive, four engine Buick powered dragster. Tommy went on to race Top fuel, Funny Car and Jet Dragsters at over 300 mph. With his TV and movie fame and passion for the sport, Tommy has taken drag racing to the people and made it one of the greatest automotive racing events.
