Your show host Robert with special guest "Ohio George" Montgomery. "King of the Gassers" best depicts the moniker given to drag racing legend “Ohio George”. This drag racer began his NHRA record pursuit in the late 1940’s through the early 1970’s with successful racing activities and podium finishes. It was the very beginning of professional drag racing as we know it today. George is most famous among the FORD guys with his wild and crazy record setting 427 SOHC Cammer powered “Malco Gasser” Mustangs. George also has the distinction and the claim to fame that all of his former race cars are alive and well and in the care and custody of collectors or residing in museums. His first real race car, the 34 Willys resides at the “Don Garlits Museum of Drag Racing” in Ocala, Florida.
