Your show host Robert with special guest Art Evans. Art is a well-known public relations man, author, photographer and journalist. He started attending auto racing events in the 50’s. He became so enthralled with the hobby so much that he participated in some amateur sports car racing events himself. During that time, he also befriended many of the legendary racers, Carroll Shelby, Phil Hill, John Fitch and Sterling Moss to name a few. He travelled around the western states extensively attending many of the road race circuits, many of which no longer exist. In the process, he wrote articles and took many photographs. Later he compiled all that information and produced numerous books about racers and race tracks. Today, Art pursues pastimes including writing about the fabulous fifties and serving as secretary and newsletter editor of “The Fabulous Fifties Association”.
