Your show host Robert with special guests Jake Serek and Kip Wasenko.
Jake's musical interest started when he was in the high school band. A friend introduced him to the Bass guitar. He soon became proficient at playing the Bass guitar and he started playing in local Chicago Bands. He has fronted for big name bands like KISS, Slash and Chicago's own Smashing Pumpkins. Today Jake builds his own brand of handcrafted specialty Bass Guitars call “Serek Basses” and plans on displaying them at this years “Summer NAMM” exposition in the Music City, Nashville, Tenn.
Kip started his automotive design career working for General Motors in 1969. One of his earliest prototypes design projects was a rotary powered sports concept car called the Chevrolet XP-897GT. Years later Kip became the Director of Design for Cadillac and GM Special Vehicles. He is responsible for the production of the Cadillac XLR 2 seat sports roadster based on his “Evoq” concept car featured at the 1999 Detroit Auto Show. Kip is an avid sports car and racing enthusiast, his influences are also credited with creating the Cadillac “V Series”, and taking Cadillac in the direction of performance sport sedans to compete with Europe's best. Today Kip spends his time as a freelance designer, vintage racer and a judge at premier Automotive Concours events around the country.
