Your show host Robert with special guest Waddell Wilson and Part II: Waddell is a well known NASCAR engine builder and Crew Chief. In 1968 Waddell built the mighty Ford 427 engines for legendary NASCAR driver David Pearson aka "The Silver Fox" and crossed the finish line in first place and a record pace. In the mid 70's Holman and Moody closed their racing shop. Although swithing to GM corporate engines in Buick, Pontiac and Oldlmobile cars, Waddell continued building racing engines that won races for legendary drivers like Benny Parsons, Buddy Baker and Cale Yarbourgh. Waddell's engines won seven Daytona 500 races. Eventually Waddell became a crew chief for Ranier Racing and would go on the working with Hendricks Motorsports.
