Your show host Robert with special guest Jim Marietta. In 1965 Jim was a young car enthusiast. His father had vintage collector cars which forged his passion for the automobile. He started helping out the Shelby American Racing Team when they would race on many of the the mid-west raceing circuits. Through his loyalty and good work ethic, Jim was eventually offerd an opportunity to work on the Shelby GT 350 race cars at Shelby American facility in Venice California. So he packed up his gear and drove the southern California in a new 289 Hipo powered 4spd Mustang. Jim remained there for a few years and is considered part of the "Original Venice Crew" or OVC. Jim along with other Original Venice Crew members got together and formed a company called Original Venice Crew Mustangs, building vintage 1965 Shelby Mustang GT 350's in Fastback and convertible conficuration true to the original Shlby cars with a few modern updates.
