- Your show host Robert and special guest Peter Brock. Peter holds the distinction of being the youngest designer to work for one of the big three. At age 19 he was hired by GM and became very good friends with Harley Earl and Bill Mitchell. In 1957 he penned the lines for the original "Corvette Stingray". He is responsible for designing and building the first prototype "Cobra Daytona Coupe", one of six to achieve the Worlds Manufacturer Championship win for the United States. Later Pete formed Brock Racing Enterprises (BRE). There he successfully campaigned Datsun 1600's, 510's, and 240 Z's. Pete was also a participant in the infamous Cannonball Run race and his charactor was later portrayed in the movie. He also taught at the Art Center College of Design, the very school where he got is start. These days Pete enjoyes photo jounalism, lecturing and traveling with his wife Gayle.
