Your show host Robert and special guest Dave McClelland. Dave is best known as the "Voice of NHRA". He started commentating and announcing at NHRA drag racing events in 1961 and continued for 44 years. He has appeared on NBC, ESPN, TNN and Speed Channel, hosting, narrating and commentating on racing and automotive events such as Formula 1, Grand Prix, NASCAR. SCCA, Sprint Cars, Migets Racing, AMA Motorcycles and Tractor Pulls. In 1971 he joined NHRA's Public Relations and Communications deparment, where he hosted TV shows and produced commercials. In the 1980's he organized the SUPER CHEVY Sunday events which still take place today. Dave has served as an emcee at countless events; SEMA, NHRA, NASCAR, Meadowbrook Concours to name a few. He is also involved with Racers For Christ, a worldwide ministry outreach program to Motorsports. Dave is also a vintage car collector owning a 1970 Buick GS 455 Convt 4spd, 1955 Chevy 2dr and an altered 40's Fiat dragster which is on display at the Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum. Dave has been honored with countless lifetime achievement awards and has been inducted into the SEMA Hall of Fame. He was the recipient of the Founders Award from the Museum of Drag Racing and the Car Craft Magazine Ollie Award. Dave is an all around great guy!
